July 31 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

This session will focus on the practical strategies for seed saving. Together we’ll define what seed saving is including many of the key terms associated with the process. We will delve into the nitty gritty as well as the physical practice of seed saving by taking apart seed pods. Participants should leave with a very basic proficiency in seed saving, key terminology, and the concepts behind it.
We will also focus on the larger themes behind seed saving like how seed saving can be a tool towards increasing community resilience and sovereignty in the face of climate change.
Feel free to bring your seeds, stories, or just yourself!
