Sip & Swap Free Store with Aywa Hafla

PO Box Clothing Swap Season is back! And this time we are collaborating with Aywa Hafla to make it even better. At our Sip and Swap, you can come in and offer items, browse, maybe strike up a conversation with someone. And we’ll make sure you keep warm with fresh cups of hot herbal tea while you’re here.

We will begin accepting items Thursday and Friday, April 14th and April 15th, between 6:00 pm and 8pm. Otherwise, you can donate during our OPEN HOURS on April 16th, 12-4pm.

IMPORTANT: While our hours on Saturday and Sunday are 10 am-4 pm, on Saturday we will have CLOSED browsing hours between 10 AM and 12 PM for recently resettled neighbors (refugees and asylees). A member of AYWA will be present to assist with translations for Arabic speakers (if you are someone who can offer language assistance for non-Arabic speakers and would like to donate your time, please let us know!).

Please do NOT come in during these special hours if you are not a recently resettled neighbor. We will open to the public on Saturday at 12-4 pm. Sunday will be open to the general public 10 am – 4 pm.

All items are welcome, from clothing to kitchenware. Special call for housewares, scarves, masks/PPE, cleaning supplies, blankets, towels as donations.

NOTE: WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING ANY MORE DONATIONS ON SUNDAY APRIL 17. When we get so many items right before we close shop, it creates a lot of extra work for our volunteers to clean up and transport to a donation facility! PLEASE DROP OFF ANY DONATIONS BEFORE SUNDAY.
