PO Box Poetry Series Reading, Writing Workshop & Potluck

Please join the PO Box Poetry Series on Thursday 8/21 for a special collaboration with Tyger Quarterly (new issue out next week!) in honor of William Blake's "death day," who, as he passed on over, was reportedly singing as his spirit left. In this spirit, indeed, we will have an evening of poetry, conversation, and revelry (and, perhaps, even song).

From 6:30pm - 7:30pm — There will be a generative writing workshop using methods of collage and illumination led by S. Yarberry.

From 7:30pm - 8:00pm — Hangout with us, grab a drink or a slice of pizza, and find a good seat!

From 8:00pm - 9:00pm — A poetry reading and "live collage" will take place, featuring Tyger Quarterly poets, Alicia Wright, Warren C. Longmire, Stefania Gomez, Temperance Aghmohammadi, and other poets and friends of the magazine!

9:00pm — Revelry! The poets will likely have copies of their books for sale. However, if you don't want to wait, you can find Warren C. Longmire's chapbook here: BIRD/DIZ [AN ERASED HISTORY OF BEBOP] and Alicia Wright's new collection can be found here: You're Called by the Same Sound.

Masks required for attendees, but not presenter
The PO Box Collective is accessible by ramp with an accessible bathroom and we have 2 air purifiers running.
