The PO Box Poetry Series was started in the spring of 2022. We bring poets local to the neighborhood together with poets from across Chicago and beyond to form a stronger community through poetry. The readings and writing workshops are free & open to the public.
6:30pm - 7:30pm — Join our generative writing workshop and fuel your creativity with free pizza.
7:30pm - 8:00pm — Hang out, grab a drink, and find a seat.
8:00pm - 9:00pm — Sit back and enjoy this month's featured poets: Won Lee, Ruben Quesada, and kyung.
A special offering this month: we're hosting a casual open mic at the end of the reading (around 8:45pm). If you find this idea enchanting, we encourage you to bring one (1!) poem to share. It can be a poem you wrote or a poem by another writer that you really admire. If one of your resolutions this year was to share more work, this is a great, chill opportunity to do so!
