Native Fruit and Nut Tree Giveaway + Mutual Aid Fundraiser

Join us for our 4th Annual Native Fruit and Nut Tree Giveaway on April 12!! What better way to practice long haul commitments to our shared future than to plant locally adapted perennial fruiting trees and shrubs.

🍇🌰✨

We will be sharing 200 Elderberries, 200 Hazelnut and 100 Chickasaw Plum. These are bare root saplings so we recommend having a plan to get them in pots or the ground as soon as possible.

We are again asking for a sliding scale donation of $0-$40 for each pair of trees (we suggest at least 2 plants for pollination purposes). Our goal is to raise a few hundred dollars for Rogers Park food sovereignty projects including our community seed library as well as supplies and tools for the Triangle Park Community Orchard. All additional funds raised will be donated to the @mw_bondfund ❤️🔥

This event will happen outside of the @poboxcollective at 6900 N. Glenwood Ave on the sidewalk and does overlap with our monthly Open Hours which runs from 3-4:30pm, same location.

Please bring a plastic bag and cash or Venmo. Reach out with any questions!

Masks optional (not required) for all attendees
The PO Box Collective is accessible by ramp with an accessible bathroom and we have 2 air purifiers running.
