Rad Rogers Park Art Build and Installation

A mobile-styled piece with clay tiles suspended from it will be displayed at the PO Box for viewing and contributing! Visitors and neighbors can  decorate the clay tiles with other neighborhood collectives, with your choice of medium, responding to the question: What does "we keep us safe" mean/look like?

We will incorporate some discussion of current community defense tactics and any visions of what we would like to see in our neighborhood and Chicago.

We will provide tiles, materials for collaging, markers, and some brushes. If you have another preferred medium that would adhere to a air-dry clay tile- bring it! We will also bring some extra paper discs to collage on if we run out of tiles.

Visitors can contribute artistically and materially on a pay-what-you-can basis, with funds going to neighborhood mutual aid or the PO Box Collective.

Masks required for all attendees including presenter
The PO Box Collective is accessible by ramp with an accessible bathroom and we have 2 air purifiers running.
