Artists and collaborators meet every Sunday to work on the memorial and mark the ever-growing number of victims of police violence. They wheatpaste “We Miss You” cards, drawings, posters and photos on the walls below the el; maintain an altar; and gather with community members and passersby to recognize the profound loss of lives, honor their memory, and talk about abolition.
